Download PAYROLL PRO - Version 1
Use this download only if you are an existing user of Payroll Pro version 1, and you need to re-install Payroll Pro for some reason, such as moving to a new computer.
Version 1 is still supported and contains the latest tax rates.
If you currently use version 1 and would like to consider upgrading to version 2, please have a look at the videos page which will show you some of the differences. There is no charge to upgrade - just email us letting us know if you would like to do so, and we will provide instructions.

After clicking the download link, you can usually choose "Run" or "Save". Either is ok - "Run" is often easier since this will automatically download, and then run, the setup program.
Are you using Internet Explorer 9? You may receive a standard warning message:
When downloading in Internet Explorer 9 you may receive a disconcerting message such as
"fsspp1.exe is not commonly downloaded and could harm your computer"
followed by options such as "Delete" and "Actions".
This message is due to Microsoft's "SmartScreen Filter" which at times is not really that smart. While it is true that some programs can harm your computer, we are pleased to advise that FiveStar Payroll Pro is safe to download and safe to use. It will not harm your computer, and has been downloaded many, many times for over ten years.
So, if you do receive the above message:
> Select "Actions"
> You may be given the options "Dont Run", "Delete", and "More Options"
> Choose More Options and then select "Run Anyway"
If you still have problems, we suggest downloading from a more user friendly browser, such as Google Chrome or FireFox.
